Yeah at least Balut isn't rotten... I don't think I would like to eat it though.
And shrimp aren't really different from insects, too. And I really like Shrimp.
Century egg looks totally rotten and I can't imagine it tastes nice. -.-

Probably because it has been perserved for a longer period than normal.

Shrimp is one of my all-time favorite foods, along with limes and cantelope.

I think, after I cracked open a century egg, I would keep it inside of something where it wouldn't deteoriate, because to me, it looks really cool.

After looking at the balut, I decided I never, EVER wanted to smell it,

I love Balut (Hột vịt lột in Vietnamese)! Lol, it's really good after boiled and with salt and somekindofherbthatIdon'tknowthenameof (From Vietnamese to English it translates as Fish leaf because it smells like a fish, I guess).
