I extract your brain and place you into a robot, and install both Daemon-Tools and Alcohol 120% at the same time, giving you an error that doesn't let you boot without restarting again and again and again, even in safe mode, probably due to the SPTD.sys file it has! And even if you manage to get it to boot (sort of), it has to run CHKDSK, and if you skip it, it restarts, and if you let it run, it gets stuck at step two (checking indexes) at 0% no matter how long you wait! Even booting into Ubuntu or Ultimate Boot CD won't help, as removing the file does nothing for the errors! The only solution left is to A. Google and hope you find a magical fix that might work this time or B. Extract everything to another hard drive, reinstall XP (I'd install Ubuntu, but I need XP for now), and copy over everything except the registry!
(Yeah, I'm getting a little frustrated by it. Any ideas?)
