Kaspersky is known to give false positives and it will also lock up your cpu on the net or for downloading things, anything sometimes -- Also these things try to block ports sometimes, block this game or download youre doing..., also, norton does this among others....

Damn,

I just got a virus before I was gonna download a new anti-virus protection (quite ironic) and now a shit load of my c:/ drive is GONE, my desktop that had like 50 icons now has 12...
Mycomputer is Soooooooooo slow...

What do i do?

Get Spybot fast, and have it fix your computer... Use a program like Undelete to get your stuff back... And then install an AV so that it doesn't happen again.

You can't be too careful. It's better to have the AV than to not, because it might catch a few things that you don't.
