Here's a dang good example of why we don't want people having a thousand images in their signature and/or posts.

I added them once then i turned images off so anyb0dy c0uld have changed it and i wouldnt n0ticed

The updates are usually a few hundred Kb's it'd probably be about 1MB of updates total
