Tower Siege Using unique and diverse towers you defend a point from oncoming creatures that will destroy anything in it's path to destroy said point. Think something like a Hero Siege with towers.
Hero Siege Just heroes defending a point.
Other ideas are welcomed. I just want to work with someone on a map !

No, AoS are the most common... TD and mauls follow second. With Sh*t games following third.
I can't Imagine you getting very far with an online team... It's better if you know the person in real life... Trust me...

Also, in order for your TD to be successful, You need to be better than Amateur. Trust me, TDs are harder to do that you would think. A hero arena or AoS would be your best bet.

Yeah I can understand what you're saying, but most of my friends have moved onto games I can't afford (and aren't as easy to mod).

Got any maps in mind? I believe doing a TD rather than a Hero Siege will be easier considering a Hero Siege is only fun with unique and fresh heroes. Not generics.
True... But making fresh heroes is fun, and we can make change spells and graphics with Model Editor, or just add in new bosses, change hero looks, add/modify spells. I think Diablo Duels would be a good one, make it more balanced, seems how the newer version sucks. = /
