Whatever you do in mpqmaster is auto saved and every map should have .j file. You probably didn' get everything.

The .J file can be found at 2 places. First this is most common (To me) where most of the files are. 2nd some maps have a folder called scripts. It is in there. And there has to be a .J file because the .J file is the triggers/JASS.

More than likely you will find it in the scripts, because that is the easiest way to protect a map, also, a lot of optimizers and what not put the .j there.unknow wrote:The .J file can be found at 2 places. Got to your mpqmaster folder then your listfiles folder and make a txt document
name it Listfile and put this in it:
war3map.j
Scripts\war3map.j
Save and when you open mpqmaster select Listfile.

use mpqrecover and scan the map with brute... then save its to the mpq master list folder. then use mpq master to open the maps and look for the folder named scripts.

Or, do brute force, check deep scanning, push scan, and if it doesn't crash, save that instead, as it will be a lot more descriptive. And if it doesn't work, just do brute force+regular scan. And if that crashes, just do brute force.cyonix wrote:use mpqrecover and scan the map with brute... then save its to the mpq master list folder. then use mpq master to open the maps and look for the folder named scripts.
