How much would people actually use a CPD that works? I am thinking of making one that can detect more cheatpacks, and (hopefully) be able to get the activator of all of them. Do you think it would be worth my time to do it?

Well i think it can only detect jjcp. No offense, but those who know about this site and have come deep enough in the tools section to grab it, do know some basics to view the maps script.

I believe something like a cheat pack removal tool would be nice.

For instance: detect the first and the last line of the JJCP and remove it.

I do plan to make it from scratch (first CPD was epic fail), so small problems such as the line breaks shouldn't occur.

Will it be able to open up maps that FS protected after he cheats it? :razz:

If you do make it, you should have an option for detecting multiple maps at once. One at a time would only save you a few seconds if you have to load the map each time. MPQ + JASS can do that quite well. Of course, the rest would depend on if you knew what to look for.

Also, for the activator, what if there is none :roll:. Say, like in JJ's cheatpack, the one I use can only be activated by me (and FS), but there's no string Activator. Will it say that? Or will it say there is no cheatpack? Just curious.

There was something else...I just forget right now...

It will be able to open any map. I plan to use Storm for it (not StormLib). It most likely will only support major cheatpacks (such as the ones in AutoCP). Although it may be able to detect some custom cheatpacks, may not get the activator however.

Yes it will be a good idea + It will make us hackers easy to know if there are cheats inside to it so, we will not have to do like opening the war3map.j
