Re: how to regenerate wigitized map data
Extract everything in the Units\ folder in the map.
Download Silk Objects Console, I uploaded it somewhere in the Tools section, and it's in my collection in my signature.
Use SOC on the files in the Units folder, it will spit out a war3map.w3u
Open the map again, delete the Units folder, and add the .w3u in
Options>Compact(Flush)
Done!
I'll post a more complex tutorial tomorrow, if you don't get it.

Re: how to regenerate wigitized map data
Can I set somehow SOC to parse only certain .slk files, cause i had some maps where i could only see AbilityData.slk nad LightingData.slk? For this maps SOC 1.2 crashes for meSenethior459 wrote:Extract everything in the Units\ folder in the map.

If it doesn't have all of them, either you aren't seeing them, and you should add the filenames to your listfile (get them with RMPQEx) or they aren't there, and you should make them. Widgetize the files, and use them with the ones from the map in Silk.
Sorry, I forgot to post a more complex tutorial. Not much more complex, though... Simple program.
Extract everything from the Units\ folder in the map
Download Silk Objects Console
Place extracted files in the MAP\ folder in SOC's folder
Run SOC
Open the map again, delete the Units folder, and add in the generated files
Options> Compact(Flush)
Done!
[edit] I just found out there's a much newer version, that works similarly to XDep. I'll attach it, here's how to use it:
Decompress the attached zip
Rename map with widgetized files to MyMap.w3x
Run the .exe in the folder
Done!
If you need to use a different listfile (the one in the map, (listfile), doesn't have the right names), then open Config.ini, set EXTERNAL_LISTFILE=listfile.txt (change listfile.txt to match the filename of your listfile, place it in SOC's folder, and save.

Re: how to regenerate wigitized map data
Apparently, the regular SOC works for dota, but it seems to hang when loading w3u (units) so if you dont mind restoring units for dota, this works fine.
I guess its because of the fact that the file is 6mb and it needs some kind of compression.

@Senethior459
Did you try to restore objects with new SOC ? Every map i tried, after unpacking files in OUT folder SOC just stop working! It still responds, but cpu usage is 0% and nothing happens... I tried about 5 widgetized maps, old and new maps, and result is same!
@DongChengWei First u need to get better listfile! U cant just run map through soc...

I used RMPQ to make a listfile.txt and placed in SOC folder and edited the config.ini
So there's no listfile problem.
