I know plenty of people at school that were born in the US, lived in the US their whole lives (14-15 years), and you know what? Many of them suck at English. You can't just learn Chinese from living in China. You need to try to learn, and try to do it well (NOT good). And some people could care less.
Your location says US, but you could be lying. There's no way to tell.
