It Can Open The Maps Using MPQ Corruption.

Mpq Editor Can Often Open Maps With Mpq Protection But Mpq Editor May Not Be Able To Edit Files Inside Them Without Corrupting the Mpq Archive.

Sometimes MPQ Editor will give you the option to remove the protection. It doesn't happen very often; I don't think the protection is as common any more. But sometimes it does.
