[Question] Syntax Error: Undeclared Variable

Post by applepi »

When I tried to load my map, I get a fatal error. So I used syntax checker on my war3map.j and it found an error in an undeclared variable. It's my cheat activator. How do I solve this problem? I have a syntax error with my war3map.wts as well, but I think it's because I opened it up in JassCraft and the first line has some weird characters (). Should I just remove those? After removing those characters I still get a syntax error in line 1.

Well I went back to the original war3map.j and redid it and now there aren't any errors. I still have to try to change the map name so hopefully that goes smoothly.

The syntax error in the strings is because the syntax checker checks JASS. Not strings... Opening the .wts in JassCraft is pointless.

You might have just typed something in wrong; erased a quote, or used an invalid character.
