Brain usage

Post by Shamanno1 »

IT'S the Great Right Brain vs Left Brain Test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or Counter-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Note:
Most of us would see the dancer turning Counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

I see her clockwise Oo

I have met people who have no dreams, who have simply accepted their fate to work, exist, and die. They are the most miserable people I have ever known.

I see it first as counter-clockwise.. then after reading thru.. i see it again as clockwise.

If I find it anti, the easy way to make it look like clockwise is focus in the lowest feet. then there it goes clockwise. I dunno if it works the same to others.

Also, focus in between neck and boobies makes it change my perception anti-clockwise.

its always clockwise turning.

Anti-clockwise (opposite) is just a trick because youre watching her from the front aka opposite personification views...

Clockwise.

Started at it for like a minute, and it still looked clockwise. (from an upward view, turning right, from a ground view, turning left)

I generally see it clockwise, actually. Though when I first saw this, it kept shifting between them, and it gave me a headache. I do that when people draw 3-dimensional shapes, like cubes, too. I see it as a cube for a moment, then three faces of a box, and it flickers between them, and gives me a headache.

This is strange that you posted this... In class today, some of my classmates were doing a project on right brain/left brain, and they used this exact site as an activity for us. Then I come home, and I see that it was just posted today, too!

Heh, this is more of a trick then anything. Look at the picture and notice which way it is turning. Even a passing glance will do. Then refresh the page, it will be turning the opposite direction. Not a brain usage thing. BTW, It's set so that more often then not it will be rotating clockwise, I'd say it's like 90% clockwise 10% counter clockwise. It also switches after a set amount of time. It's really easy to notice if you watch her legs. Right turn = pivoting on left leg, left turn = pivoting on right leg

Nope. Always clockwise for me. Still hasn't changed, even after I refreshed the page several times.

Posted by: tony deluchy of ca 4:06pm today Sorry dudes I can't make it go anti-clockwise no matter how hard I try all the sugestions.
Posted by: Mr Magic Pants of Down Under 3:53pm today I love it how the usual collection of morons automatically assume that it is a fake and then say so! Try harder, losers.
Posted by: Ramjet of 3:26pm today There's absolutely no evidence that the direction which you perceive the girl to be turning indicates which side of the brain you're using. Also, the left/right brain functions are mostly myths. For example, emotions are largely processed in the middle of the brain, not the left or right hemispheres. There are no facts here.
Unless you enjoy dumbing down society, you should remove this article in order to avoid spreading baseless information and to avoid perpetuating myths. It's people like you who help keep people stupid. In the future, research your information and provide sources in your articles. It's called social responsibility.
