Ok heres the thing.
In Portugal miracle which is lol there is a school system from 5ºGrade to 12ºGrade which sells portable Pc´s for students for 150euros but you must have a 3years contract with TMN (Mobile Company and in this case internet for the portable pc...)
And well all of them are good some have 6Gb Ram which is quite good

Well the first one is linux, so that wouldnt be for me. Besides that, just what exactly are the kids in portugal wanting to do on these pc's? They seem to be quite overpowered for a typing tutorial, or MS Word.

If you don't like Linux, you could remove it and install something else, or you could just install something else, dual-boot config.
