Puzzle Number One: 5 into 4 Squares
Wandering aimlessly for quite a while, a carnival appears before my eyes. Caught by the callings of numerous shouts and hoorays, I venture there; yet, to my surprise, a lone guards stops my path. Until I have answered his puzzle, he will not let me pass.

Lone Guard says:
"Above is an image of 5 squares connected to each other.
Imagine that each line is a toothpick so that a total of 16 toothpicks may be seen.
Taking into consideration these restrictions:
a) all toothpicks must be of equal length
b) all toothpicks must be used
c) each line must consist of one toothpick only
d) a rectangle is NOT a square
e) all squares must touch each other
f) no toothpick(s) should be making just a line
g) all squares must be of equal length and size
take a maximum/minimum of 2 toothpicks away from the structured 5 squares. Then, placing them back to the now-dismantled structure, make only four squares."
I really want to enter the carnival to see what cool events are there. Please help me out, and my prizes I will share.

Puzzle Number Two: The Cake
At the carnival I encountered a rectangular prism cake with icing covering its top and all sides but not the bottom. Informed by the baker, I know that the inside of the cake is just plain bread. I was about to leave when the baker says, "To those who know the rule of this game, the cake is free. To those who are ignorant of the rules I speak, please leave me be." Quite interesting was his calling that I decided to question him the rule of his cake game.
Baker says:
"A wealthy customer offers me quite a sum in hoping that I would be able to distribute equally among his 6 sons a very valuable cake. Each piece of the cake must contain the same amount of icing and bread. He says there are two different ways to divide his cake. The problem is he forgot how to do it. Being that I am new, this wealthy customer also wants to test my cleverness in bakery.I am quite new to the baking and cutting business that I know not the clever method.
Taking into account these information and restrictions:
1) only three cuts are allowed
2) NO curvy lines are allowed
3) six pieces are made after the three cuts
4) each piece must contain the same amount of icing and plain bread
5) top view is a square
equally divide this plain cake of mine. Here, please take a look at my cake:"

Feeling sorry for this new baker and his job, I was determined to help. What methods do you have to dividing this cake? I have thought of one already, but the restrictions are violated. What can you offer? Also, the baker would like an explanation on how and why the methods are valid. He also said that there are two methods to do this formidable task.

Puzzle Number Three: The Dot
Accomplishing my goal to help the baker, I venture further within the carnival. Actually, peoples here calls it a festival. I do not know what sort of festival, but a festival is what I will call it now. There! Standing in the middle of a circle, a man. He bids my help.
Stange Man says:
"Some crazy wizard played a frank on me. Within this circle is where I stand. I cannot leave without the correst answer to his puzzle in my hand."
Aqlbeast says:
".....you sure about this? This circle seems normal to me. Have you not try jumping out of it?"
Stange Man says:
"Look here kid -_- I am trying to have some fun. If you will not solve my puzzle, just leave =("
AqlBeast says:
"Busted hahaha!!!...alright what is it? Give it to me"
Strange Man says:
"A circle you see....Forget the rhyme, let me cut this short. See this circle?"
http://www.myspacerev.com/uploads3/WLPDLz5wpl.jpg
"I drew this cirlce with a dot in it. With this pen here. Just like any other pen. No magic involved. I want you to draw on this paper a similar image with the same characteristic: a circle with a dot in it. There are restrictions though.
1) You may not lift the pen off the paper once you laid the pen on the paper.
2) You may only use method involving the one pen and one paper I provided.
The circle does not have to be perfect. All I care about is the method you use to overcome this task. One restriction though, once you pick up a pen with you hand (left or right), the pen should remain in that specific hand. No other hand may touch it either."
Mmmm....I am stumped. Do you have any idea?
OK

Re: A bit help at these riddles plx. =S
First one.... (Took me a minute or so to see it...)
From the top right square, go left one. Move it's top to face like a l on the bottom of itself, so it doesn't have a top...
Now, flop the one from the bottom (The two squares on the bottom, from the one on the right...) to the right.
That will make a new square, and eliminate two, giving you 4 squares...
I will go try the other riddles....
(Edit)
The dot and circle one was easy... (I just tried to do it in real life and found a really simple way...)
Make the dot, bend the paper right next to the dot, go out two inches, move off the bended side,
make a circle around the dot, fold the paper back... now it looks like you made a dot and a circle.
(Edit)
Well, for the cake one... um...
Getting 6 equal pieces is easy...
Divide the cake into 3 equal parts. (Cutting it twice, once at the 1/3 up, and again at 2/3 way up...)
Then cut it down the middle.
That will give 6 pieces... each being 1/6 perfectly, while only using 3 cuts.
