Tree Tag Good Edition Help

Post by ruman3012 »

Hey, I am quite new and this may be my first post at this site. I do hope, this is in the right section and I didn't break any rules like begging and stuff... But I wanted to put the Xantan's code into Tree Tag Good Edition (It is not protected, but I just want to know why it doesn't work) and it says there was a problem with the war3map.j (the file I put the Xantan stuff in). I think I did it right, but it's the steps after that? After I did that, I use MPQMaster and I deleted war3map.j (Sorry, I can't find the replace button anywhere) then I readded the edited war3map.j. After I did that, I press Compact (Flush) then I open warcraft to try it out and it didn't work. Could the problem be, that I should delete the Attribute File (It is in the main folder where it stored everything else like war3map.j and stuff, not in a seperate folder).
If someone can give me a hint on what went wrong, I would be really happy  .

Below is the edited script file, WITH the Xantan codes in it, there was no detected synatic error from Jasscraft...

The attribute file have to be deleted.
Upload your map here.
As I can't see any problem on the J file.

Oh wow thanks. It works after I deleted the attribute file, thanks.

I have a question... (If this is getting offtopic, sorry lol) some games, like Tauren Tag v2.3g have a symbol before the globals.
(Example : globals
group udg_AliveRunners=null
group udg_DeadRunners=null
force udg_Runners=null
...)

Do I have to delete them? (I tried deleting them and keeping it there, none worked, a volition warcraft critical error pops up when I try testing the map). I didn't find the attribute file there. Thanks

globals
is the result of an optimizer.
It doesn't matter, it makes no difference.
