Don't host?
I have never had that happen to me, and I'd assume that you should go through the usual stuff. Check to make sure you have updated drivers, see if something's screwing up your internet connection, run a virus scan, etc. If it always happens five minutes in, then something's up. It could be driver issues, if that happens when you join too, but I doubt it. A virus is possible, but I don't find it very likely that a virus would end warcraft after 5 minutes of hosting, it probably couldn't tell the difference. It could be your connection though. Do you run any programs like BitTorrent, or other filesharing things? Those tend to hog your connection if anything is being transferred. Or, if another program that uses the internet uses the same ports as warcraft (6112-6119) then try to change the ports that those other programs use. I once set BitTorrent to use port 6112 by accident, and I kept losing the connection to bnet, just because two programs were trying to use the same port at once. I changed the port BitTorrent was using, and no lag, but... If you don't use any programs like that, then it could just be your ISP blocking that amount of traffic. I know that sometimes they block the lower ports, to try and stop illegal filesharing over torrent programs, and sometimes warcraft ends up being blocked. I don't know how to fix that if that's the problem.
