Copying Triggers...

For fulfilled maps that most likely don't work on the latest patch (1.24 or later).

Copying Triggers...

Post by Bpapman »

This is more of a Question if anything. I know mostly what I'm doing but occasionally I want to copy skills and things... My question is if theres anyway to transfer/save GUI triggers in order to just open a map and paste them without having to copy from the original first... Of course i can redo each condition and event of every trigger but that takes too long and i was wondering if there was a way to copy to make it easier and faster.

Thanks!

Yes there is i believe there is a way to export and then import trigger data by being in the trigger section and going to file and export then you save the file then go to the other map go to triggers file then import and import the data you saved and also you can copy the conditions and variables too, but i cannot remember how i did that.

Copying triggers: Just select the trigger/trigger-folder and hit ctrl+c. Open the othermap, and ctrl+v
Copying variables: I'm not sure if you can do it through the variable editor, but you can just make a trigger that sets all the vriables to '0', "", etc. Go to preferences, tick the 'Create Unknown Variables' box and jsut copy that trigger into the other map...
