Hi I was badly wanting a opt-The Black road v 1.33 unprotected map so i can do a bit if meddling around with it.

yes the link is in the first post and i do understand the risks to deprotect maps

All that the protection is doing is stopping it being opened in WE it hasnt been widgetized so there's no real point to unprotecting unless you want to change the terrain anything else can be done more easily without unprotecting.

when i try to open it it sies there is not enough storage space to process the command...what do i do?

i cant get it...ive tried everything i know( not much) and eventualy got the file size down to like 3mgb. i just dont understand how to open it.

The thing you have to look at here is the Object, and in this case the problem is with "WERandomGroupSet (.?AUERandomGroupSet@@)". Keyword: Group. This indicates the problem is with the war3map.w3i file. This is the file that deals with the map info and player grouping / forces. So, how do you fix this? There is more than one way, but the easiest way is to just overwrite the .w3i file. Open the map with the MPQ editor, go to 'Operations > Add file(s)...' and add a blank war3map.w3i file (there's a blank one in the BaseMapFiles folder included in the Deprotect package). If you installed Deprotect in the location I suggested, it should be "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Deprotect\Work". Just click 'ok' if the 'Add File(s) Options ' window appears (you can set it so it doesn't appear in the future) and your file will be added. Close the MPQ editor and you should be all set to open the map in the World Editor.

If you don't have the deprotect I can do this myself for you.



Edit: sloppy job by matchai, but you should search have searched anyways, I'm pretty sure this has already been hacked with a cheatpack injected; anyways, .w3i overwritten and war3mapunit.doo added, heres the map deprotected:
