A very NOOOB Q really , about -ms(space)(space)

I really can't understand how this works in game

others have it as -cheat(space)(space)

now what? i type it then what happens?

sigh* I'm a real nub...sob* in 1 map i dl'd it says there to type -ms(space)(space) and it gives me 500g but nothing happens?

it's the activator for the map..
it can be -Bushido<space><space> , -cheats<space><space> etc..
