Question about the .J file and attributes file

Post by unknow »

This might be dumb questions but if there are 2 .J files what does that mean. Also when trying to cheat a map that has this do I delete one or change both. And I have been wondering what is the attributes file that is needed to be deleted? Like what is in it?

If you have 2 war3map.j's just edit the one in the scripts folder. All the attribute file does is check if your map is changed so if you change the map and don't update this file or delete it it will tell you that the map was changed and not allow you to play the map.

Iv'e never run into that problem myself but I believe is all it is is part of the war3map.j but seperated so just edit the war3map.j like normal and if you want you could combined the .j's but I wouldn't really worry about it.

Maybe the .j file was too big so the map split it? -.-

Other than that, I would say that the author did it themselves.
