[Question for Dekar] Apache problems on Linux...
Ok... I know that the wc3edit.net server is a Debian, but Ubuntu and Debian shouldn't be that different. Did you compile your Apache urself ur did you install it through the 'apt-get' thing? And if you can be bothered, can you just make a brief tutorial on setting up apache? =]

Uhm... don't ever use Ubuntu for a server... and don't don't click me a server if you have no clue what you're doing!
What if anyone hacks it, sets up a rootkit and sends out 10.000 spam mails per second?
I've installed mine from the debian repository, but that shouldn't matter at all!
Setting up... wtf do you want to set up? mine worked pretty nice out of the box!

Hm.. well I'm actually just experimenting around with apache on linux, cos I got bored of apache on WIndows >.>
And I had some trouble with apache from the repository and then when I reinstalled apache and php the same way (they both worked the first time) php didnt work with apache >.>

what kind of php did you install?
using cgi/fast-cgi? using mod-php?
