Hopefully I am posting this in the right forum sub-section, if not I am more than happy to move it to the right one.
The map I attached I want help deprotecting. I don't need any cheats added to it or anything but rather I just want to get rid of a few purchasable items that I feel are a little unbalanced and ruin the game. If somebody could just deprotect the map for me I could do the rest.
I am running into an issue when trying to edit the map. I haven't gotten any errors but rather when the map is loading and it gets to the loading regions part it has to load over 1.2 BILLION regions. This would take literally thousands of days. I am assuming this is some sort of protection added to the map but not one that I have had run into before. I don't know if any other errors or protections lay in wait after all those regions load.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help deprotecting a map
If you want to edit items, why don't you extract only the war3map.t file and then re-import it again? I already did a post before telling how to edit items:

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't aware of that post, I am new to this site. The MPQeditor only opens the map as read only unfortunately so I am stuck again.
