Request:
Could you guys help me deprotect this?
Tried to do it myself but I'm getting redeclared <Triggers'Name of a variety> error when saving, I wonder why....
Thanks in advance to any and all who would give a hand!

Thank you for this.
And if I may bother you for a bit more, might I ask as to how did you deprotect it?
You did such a good job with it.
Edit:
Now that I've tried saving the map, I'm getting errors from it once I tried to save it (in the editor).

Deprotected maps are not supposed to be saveable. The process of deprotection is only to allow maps to be open-able in the world editor. The ability to save requires a process called restoration which is not offered at this site, simply because it is time consuming and too much work.AxlV3 wrote:Thank you for this.

Now back to main point:
Have you tried opening it in the new gen editor?

I see, I thought that making it savable depends on how you deprotect it rather than it being another process all on its own.
If that's the case, then this deprotection works fine as it is, yea.
It's openable in WE and NewGen, so fulfilled request then.

Yeah same, I once thought that too. I'm getting frustrated that I can't deprotect a single map (newer map) with that script error. I was able to easily deprotect older maps back then but, now I believe map creators have done something to the war3map.j file. Perhaps that's why saving a map is part of restoration now.AxlV3 wrote:I see, I thought that making it savable depends on how you deprotect it rather than it being another process all on its own.

I'm currently trying to find a solution to this but, no luck so far.

Yeap, same here. I thought it was I who sucked and couldn't deprotect it until it was savable, which is mainly why I made this request here in the first place, since I managed to deprotect this.ThunderWary wrote:Yeah same, I once thought that too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh well. Guess I'll continue to tinker on my own then, thanks for the insight.
