it's a combination of corrupting some files, deleting others (like gui triggers)
and changing trigger names to randomness so it does nearly everything
possible!
you are free to choose which options you prefer after running it!

I'm wondering for protecting a map can you add something to say the units file or another file that will completely corrupt that file if it is tried to be read in the editor, yet still work in wc3?

Warcraft's engien works same as World editor's.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if that were ture, protected maps would be unplayable wouldn't they?
