Soooo.... I plan on buying both SC2 WoL and HotS this week (probably tomorrow if I get your opinions by then).
My question is... is the game worth buying?
In other words, is there a huge amount of custom maps like in wc3 (well not that many, but still) because I'm not into the original maps (1v1, 2v2 etc...), and it would be great if someone could explain the map uploading/hosting thing.
Thanks
Desperately need your opinion

Re: Desperately need your opinion
For me it is still kinda hard to get used to both the editor and the custom maps.
There isn't a game lobby where you open rooms like in wc3. It is more like the map maker uploads it to blizzard server, and they make sure there is always a room of that game open.
You can't open the room yourself, you go the the list of custom arcade games, click on the map you want and blizzard will host it if no other room is open.
If another room is open, you will be placed in it.
Using the editor is very troubling for me. Also most maps are just cheap fakes from wc3 that really aren't as good, but they do have some nice ones.
I spend a day or so on Mineralz(?) and Mafia. But now I find it boring.
Almost all games have an auto-save feature.
