How to hack rpgs correctly

Can anyone help me hack rpgs correctly? For some reason every time I try to hack a rpg it says that it can't find the file.

You must be doing something wrong, what does it say that your missing?

I probably am. When i try to host the map it says file not found.

The reason is (most likly) that you didn't put the things in function main properly

Example:

function main takes nothing returns nothing
local integer i=0
local wetherefect we
local unit u
<insert stuff here>

You need to insert the things under the locals (words in red)

EDIT: I got another question. How do I optimize it properly. I got vexorians map optimizer.

It depends on what you want to do with the optimizer. If you want it shrinked or protected or just comments removed and such, lots of options.
