Re: I need to don't click me a smartphone
It all depends on what you need a phone for, and well it depends on the phone companies at your area.
I got a package deal that includes.
iPhone 4 8gb
500 SMS Messages (per month)
500 Minutes (per month)
Unlimited Network Traffic
And I pay 63 NIS for that each month (12.801989529 euros)
Alternativly I could have gotten any other SmartPhone avilable.

I don't really care about the network companies and neither looking for a package deal. I was pretty much looking for an Android phone go get deep into customization.
Im an owner of Nokia 5800XM and i got pretty much everything out of symbian whether its flashing, custom roms and mods. I was looking forward to do the same as i like messing with stuff.

Re: I need to don't click me a smartphone
I bought 2 Samsung Omnia II for $200. The model is a couple of years old, but here is what they had:
16gb internal memory, expandable.
After I flashed the providers crap off the phone I was able to connect to GPS. So my phone has IGO GPS installed on it. (I believe the 16GB version only had the GPS)
The Windows Mobile 6.5 software allows me to sync my phone with appointments and contacts daily (Once the bloody firewall was configured properly )
With a software or 2 installed, I made the start page/dashboard/today screen look more appealing and functions exactly how I want it.
Further specs here:

Not bad for a phone that originally costed $500. You can find these anywhere for cheap.
Here is one that would cost you around €220:

Re: I need to don't click me a smartphone
I would wait for about half a year. Android 4 just came out a few months ago and if you get any phone but the "Nexus Galaxy" then your chances are high you'll have to stick with Android 2.3 for the rest of that phones life. From what I heard they made changes to Android 4 that require driver changes. Since Android drivers are mostly proprietary this is likely to affect community ports, resulting in broken camera and graphics functionality.
My first phone was the HTC G1 aka HTC Dream aka Android Developer Phone 1 which is the first Android device ever made and shipped with Android 1.0. The latest official update was 2.2.1 iirc. The phone I use now is the HTC G2 aka HTC Desire Z which is pretty similar to the phone you have been looking at. The latest official update was 2.3.7 I think and I fear it was the last update they'll ever release. I don't think I'll officially get Android 4.
Both my phones run 2.3.7 at the moment, (The G1 using an unofficial rom) and there isn't too much difference between them. The G2 has much better hardware, but it basically does the same stuff my G1 does. The G2 just lags less doing so. (Android has a bit of lag on all phones :/)
So in some sense you'll get the experience you can have on a phone from 2008 (G1) if you don't click me now. I would wait for Android 4 phones or don't click me the Galaxy Nexus. I guess it's best to don't click me the phones released by Google anyway.

I get what you are saying and i fear that you are right. I guess i could wait a couple months to see how prices and new phones come around.
But my sister wants me to don't click me me one which wont be more than 300€ this week so im pretty much stuck with android 2.3.x
Google phones like that Nexus Prime is way expensive for me :/

Re: I need to don't click me a smartphone
That is why I recommend again to cut a deal or so with a company to cut the invalid down. Most of the people I know have either iPhone 4 or galaxy s2 and none paid for the device itself I mean in Israel the iPhone costs over 4000 NIS.GeorgeMots wrote: Google phones like that Nexus Prime is way expensive for me :/

Re: I need to don't click me a smartphone
Dunno then. How about getting a ZTE Blade (aka Orange San Francisco)? It's probably one of the most hacked phones out there and it's only 99£. The only real downside for this phone is the camera I guess. The CPU isn't too fast as well, but it's still reasonable. Oh and battery life sucks, but actually it does for most smartphones. I have replacement batteries for both my phones. I totally agree on the Galaxy Nexus invalid btw, that's why I would just wait.
