warcraft 3 TFT screen resolution

i don't know if this is the right section to be posting this in but it seemed the most appropriate for right now
i have windows 7 and when i play warcraft 3 a good chunk of the left side of my screen is cut off ive tried all of the given resolutions and doing all of the compatibility issues and i have looked it up and found nada.
i have a samsung syncmaster BX2035 if that helps at all and my regular screen resolution is 1600x900
any help will be appreciated

What do you mean cut off? Can you elaborate on that?

like if the screen should be like this

with W being the feild of vision its like
{!!!!W}
with ! being just blackness

I can't say I've had this problem before, but it sounds like something with your graphics card or monitor, not the wc3 resolution options itself.

Well help us help you. Give us your graphic card along with your system specs. You might have to edit war3 thru your graphic card options or get an app that makes war3 be widescreen.

What's more, make a shortcut of war3 and the -opengl suffix or try it in -window mode as well.

1) Update your graphic card (driver)
2) Run wc3 as administrator (right click on wc3)
3) Run the resolution of your PC

Or do these steps:
1 ) Run Wc3
2 ) Click Battle.net
3 ) Download the update and start wc3 again
4 ) Go to options
5 ) Go to video
6 ) Change your resolution to w/e you want
7 ) ???
8 ) Profit!
