Well, I edited the maps correctly but whenever i join a game with the same exact version i have to download the map again. Why is that? Is it because whenever i edit the map it changes somehow so i have to download the map again? Example - I downloaded Tropical Tower Wars v5.48. Then when i edited it i have to download the same exact map again.
Sorry, if you are stressing out to see nooby questions like these but im just a beginner hacker unlike ozzapoo (pro).

you edited it so its no longer the same... and then you have to download it again because they r 2 diffrent maps...

Sure you do. If you didn't have to, battle.net would never be the same again.
Map is not the same anymore once you've changed any game-related file in it.
You may still change the .wts (string files) or war3mapmap.blp \ war3mappreview.tga to mark a map for yourself (unless you're hosting it, other players will not see this mark)
