PvE means Player Versus Environment. So basically PvNPC.
And.. I found a build I am trying right now. After about a hour of gameplay with a set-up build... I am already at 4-2.

Yeah, I got it from gamefly....Played it for 15 minutes and turned it off. Not many "checkpoints' So once you die you start all over again.
