Okay, so the three major snow storms in the past several months, with somewhere over forty inches total, I believe? Those sucked. A ton of shoveling on my part.
Then, we had an epic thunderstorm over the past two days. Power dropped out for thirty seconds, and I turned off my battery backup so it would stop beeping. The phones and internet and whatnot went out, too, with the power. I was planning to go to the play with some friends, and they left to go without telling me, so I went to their house first. If I had had internet, that would have been solved. Now, here's the part where it sucks. I go to my brother's play, wait at their house, but they're not there, get there, I forgot something but it wasn't too important. Anyway, we came back, and there was still no internet/cable, yet we had phones (according to das blinkenlights). Ten seconds later, I smacked myself on the head for my stupidity and turned on the battery backup. Guess what my modem and router are plugged into?

btw, had 2 snow days last month, canceled school those days..
Now.. we have +20 minutes to school for march/april..
