I want to Have gold cheat on a map What do i need to know?

Hi, i want to learn to add cheats to maps, i just wanted to cheat on 1 map like Green Circle TD 2.2. and 2.3 which havent been hacked yet as ive used the search on this site.

You dont need to be specific What are somethings you guys might reccomend? Is this going to make me a lot of my time to learn?

Shouldnt take long. Just read a bit here on the board. there should be a tut on everything from extracting to repacking.

okay one question, do i have to learn to unprotect the map first?

First thing you can learn here on wc3edit is that unprotection is completely unnecessary if you want to add cheats. Just take a look at one of our many guides pinned here at the top, perhaps start with 'adding simple gold/wood cheats#*#'

that'll get you going.

No you wont need to unprotect the map at all.
You just extract the jass code from it and edit it, then put your edited code back into the map.

They should show you everything you need to know to remove, edit and replace the jass code from the map.
Just whack one of the cheat packs from here into it, whichever you like best.
