MPQ Being annoying

this happened a while ago and has never been fixed. My mpq master closes after I try deleteting a file such as attributes. On W.Vista i tried running as admin but that didn't work still. I added a CP fine so i can add files, but not delete. I also have MPQ editor and it deos the same thing.

Any ideas?

I've had this happen before, too; I believe it's due to a protection that works by corrupting the MPQ file. You may have to fix it/rebuild it/use a different tool to get it to work.

wait, so I have to rebuild mpq master? and FS it;s not a single map its every map I try. I tried 5 different maps, added a cp successfully but wasn't able to delete any files from them

No, you may have to rebuild the map. Extract everything and put it into a blank map.

I'm not sure why it's happening, so I can only suggest redownloading MPQMaster, or updating runtimes like .NET and stuff.
