I think this is a useful tools for editing a map without deprotection.
It's the only third party map editor for Warcraft 3.

A good, light tool, but I'd still much rather use World Editor. The terrain doesn't display properly..

The only thing i'd use this for is the fact that this thing can do just a tad more than WE can.
This map editor has not been designed to "replace" the WE. Use it as an additionnal tool that allows you to stuff you can't do with the WE (path editing, change water level, tiles flags, number of tilesets, protection, hudge ground level differences, doodads in shapes, map convertions,...)

So how does one get past grayed out boxes?
they seem to be everywhere so either you can only edit the terrain or somethings work.
