ive deprotected dota becoz i wanted to be better at dota

basically i could see where icefrog has placed stuff to make fog every few area so i know where to place wards and stuff

but then thing is when i opened it in we unlimited the buildings are all missing, same with the shop dudes
i checked the triggers, objects and etc coz obviously they must be intialized somewhere
but i could only find the stuff to add heros to tavern
not the shops and the 4xsecret

im especially after finding the secret frogs and stuff coz im bored =.=
but i can't find the code for the buildings so im no where close lol

anyone give me a few pointers?

actually dosent XDep remove that from the We map viewing thing
like it removes alll custom buildings and stuff

Code is obfuscated for a start, and not only that you also have to replace the substitutes that represent constant integers. As for the war3mapunits.doo (units palced on the map) you don't see them in the world editor because xdep doesn't add those buildings for many reasons. You would have to set them in correlation with the J file. For example, take a look at this thread and compare the two map. Here: http://forum.wc3edit.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=809

I know a lot about maps and there files and everything. I can make a map just as the author has it, but it just takes time. Its hard to explain what I know, I am not a very good teacher... My personal project right now is a open DotA, but working on it by myself will take a while due to the large amount of work. Recovering 160+ regions by hand isn't very easy and time consuming. It would go a lot faster, but I don't know how to convert a decimal to a floating point (anyone help?) Not only that but renaming functions and categorizing is a whole different story.
