Well, actually, you're both wrong.

My first name was Kala-cha, when I was an idiot. Asked Dekar to change my name to Baert. Then I left, and came back half a year later as some name starting with an S which I can't remember. I was hardly any better than I was before I left. I asked Dekar to change it to this, Bartimaeus. I got better after that, I guess.

So, no, I didn't change my name, Dekar did, , and neither was I always Bartimaeus.

Also, the only reason(s) you probably know my name was Baert is because of people calling me 'Baert' in the staff section in older topics, you necromancer.
