Ok all, its time I work on my map again, but to speed things up, I need to be able to copy and past from one map to another. I have the brushes off in WE, but it still takes about 5 seconds to switch, and it sometimes doesnt switch to the same unit, so I have to scroll to find it.
Well 5 seconds doesnt seem like much, but when I need to copy/paste 4-5 fields per unit/spell/ability...and at about 300 of these, well....It will take twice as long I am sure.
SO.....I need to know how to make multiple instances of WE, or is there a 3rd party editor I could run besides to do this task efficiantly?
open up a second world editor?

Re: open up a second world editor?
I FINALLY got a chance to sit down to make the new version of my map. I cant just keep adding the updated towers seperately anymore, as I found out with all the help here, that the unit numbers got changed from the original, to my map, and therefor dont function properly. I guess making new units of my own made the number difference from the original.
So it was time to start from scratch. I already edited the scripts file so I know what the hell each unit is called. Now, thanks to your genius Dekar, I can use your "run as" solution to copy and past from the original map to the next very quickly!!!

Vegas, i hope you finish your map soon and it becomes famous.
Good Luck!

My Favorite Rule:
- No excessive BBCode, (colors, flashing text, spoilers, etc.), using; don't use it for every single word you're typing, only use it make a word(s) stand out.
