How do I edit an RPG?

I wanted to base a new RPG on an old one. So I want to use an old RPG and change the terrain, heroes, unit, etc.
But when I open the deprotected map, I don't see any units? How do I go about starting this project?

You mean units in the map or units in the object editor?

There are no units on the map, and when I look in object manager I don't see any.

I haven't tried using world editor for so long.
I was looking in object manager instead of editor and the editor is exactly what I was looking for.
