Re: ISO: Host detection system
There is no 100% accurate one to my knowledge, as it is based off of random variables...If you can find one lmk
Btw: Countless times that I have played Vampirism beast, the host detection has been wrong.

Re: ISO: Host detection system
There can't be one in pure gui, gui doesn't have the functions required to complete.
If you want a really good host detection system, Use the one in this UserData system. It's actually extremely accurate, as it makes multiple checks.
Vamp beast doesn't have a 100% correct one, I've been selected as host without any hosting ability.
Basically, Since the host is usually the fastest player to receive / send packets (He has less delay than anyone else) we sync a key to the game, the game then records which key it received first, usually it's the host.
P.S, Black-Hole, Who is that girl in your sig? ^^
