editing units in protected map [help please]

That's because some strings are stored in the war3map.wts

All you need to do when editing anything in the object editor is simply extract and reimport the war3map.wts file along with your war3map.w3u

Ya, any editing you do to the units, usually means the strings changed, so as Aero said, export the strings from the test map with the test units, then import both into your map your making.

Hah! It worked 100%, you guys are awesome, thanks for all the help. That actually would've been a lot simpler if I'd looked up the purpose of each of those files and I would've known right away what I was doing wrong, but now I know :oops: Thanks a bunch everyone!
