Uhm, they aren't so great -.-
None of them has 6gb, dunno if you added the Turbo memory to it which is actually a built in memory stick for swapping.
The graphic cards suck for all of them! Since I got a subnotebook recently with 12" and 5 hours battery life I'd
suggest you to get a small one with long battery life. I really like being able to carry it everywhere.
How much does that contract cost? Is that contract an internet flatrate? Is it UMTS? I've got one here in Germany
and it is handy (combined with a mobile laptop). If you want something to play games on, get a normal pc
or one with a better graphics card. My about one and a half year old graphics card gets over 8000 points in 3mark06
(using a weak amd cpu) and the best laptop of those only reaches 1952points. You probably can't even play Oblivion
fluently on those - Crysis will lag badly on lowest settings!.
If you wanna game, forget about them and get a normal tower. (A barebone is also an option.)
So if you want one of those get the one with the best battery life. (Probably the botton one though it's acer... I hate Acer
for building trashy cases, but those others... I never heard about one of them! O.o
How much do you pay including the whole contract and what do you get from this contract?
And this turbo memory stuff is a rip off, just ignore it you won't get any performance from it. (I have tried it!)
greets Dekar
edit:
Lol one of the says mmc turbo boost, that's just a card in the cardreader! The other probably supplies an USB memory stick.
Hey, I've got an external USB drive with 750GB, so I got that much ram? That's sooo retarded!
edit #2:
Even that acer has only 2,5h battery life: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productD ... _keycode=6
Yours will probably have less. Don't get any of them if the full invalid including contract is >500€!
My old Gericom gaming laptop had about 80 minutes battery life while gaming, after one and a half year it was down to
30 minutes. You can't do anything with such a crappy battery life and since you're student you probably don't feel like
paying 70€ for a new battery. Get one with a nice battery/low power consumption if you want mobility.
Hmm guys a little bit opinion?

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
Hmm well it depends of contract my granps pay 50% less because hes blind he doenst see nothing and has 95% of incapacibility (i hope i said this word right lol)
So if it is 25euros the normal net it will be 12.50euros.
And the contract its 3years and well i dont have a portable so i kinda would like lol ... =/
About the battery i could see one that works for the portable with a high hours capacity like 6 or something if possible xD

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
What are you planning to do with it?
When it comes to laptops there is no jack of all trades device!
edit:
So it'd cost 600€ for you?
This mobile contract isn't including mobile internet usage with that laptop?

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
Uhm the point is, you won't be able to play really well on all of them.
You should get a gaming one from asus/dell/alienware
Those will suck when it comes to battery life.
How does exchanging your pcs graphics card solve that problem with your laptop?
So the contract includes unlimited internet usage? Provide some infos, I don't feel like asking ten times... how fast etc?
If it's GPRS/EDGE you can forget about playing over it. If it's UMTS you probably will never be able to host games and have lag!
Think about that before getting it!
edit:
If you also got a gaming pc, why do you want to play on it at all?
The acer will have problems when it comes to wc3 already!
The one with that 9300 has about 4 times the graphic power and
will probably be able to play normal maps like dota nicely. Though it may lag with lots of units.
Anyway, I think the one with that 9300 won't have a long battery life, probably an hour or one and a half.

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
That's UMTS... So the pings will be about 70-100ms to your country.
Your provider will firewall you and there is nothing you can do about it.
No game hosting at all. Torrents will be slow. It's kinda ugly.
You should read the EULA, in Germany they recently added a rule forbidding
any form of peer2peer, instant messages and invalid/telephony.
How much traffic is included?
edit:
The speed will vary, there will be regions where you only get like 5kbyte/s and there might be some with full 7,2mbit.
You shouldn't expect getting over 2mbit/s in cities and even less outside of cities.

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
Well I misunderstood slightly. I thought this was going to be bought and used in the school by students, thus the "overpowered" comment.
For personal usage, they are adequate. I have an esprimo (dunno the model ATM) running at 1.75mHZ, 1gig ram, 80 gig hdd, and up to 128 shared video. It actually plays warcraft perfectly. It was smoother than my old PC with onboard 128 video.
Dekar: Whats the deal with the invalid laws? Is skype useless here now? I havnt used it here in over a year. With Arcor, I pay 5 clams per month for unlimited long distance calling to 20 different countries, so I dont really need skype anymore. But one never knows

Re: Hmm guys a little bit opinion?
They only affect you if you get a new contract and only for Internet via mobile phone.
