Search Bar

Post by Syre »

Alright, so i often used the search bar to find out if topics have already been fulfilled or whatever, so just recently i searched for a map and it didnt show up, only after it was pointed out to me did i realize it was there..

So i took a few minutes, and did a couple random searches. And i found out, that new topics in Fulfilled Requests, dont show up in the search..at least not most of them. Even if i typed the entire title in, while it does for new topics in general or any other, fulfilled doesn't show up.

Is this due to the recent changes of topics around? or am i missing something and doing it wrong.

I just searched for a few topics in Fulfilled. It found them when I searched for the topic's full title, and again when I just searched with a few keywords, like "pioneer rpg". I'm not sure why you're having that problem.

When you searched, did you get the ones you searched for? ;x I just tried again in case it was a temporary thing, but i sill didnt get a Fulfilled one, well, there were a few, but when i clicked on them i was taken to Broken Fulfilled instead. Any full title the i typed in that was in Fulfilled, didnt come up.

Yes, the topics I was searching for appeared and the links worked. Did you try limiting your search to only include results from the Fulfilled Requests section? That's what I did...

Yeah, the forum search works much better. It gives you all sorts of convenient options like limiting results to just topics, or specific forums. Plus it searches through the forum's database, so you don't need to wait for Google to index all of the various posts and update its index so you can get results pointing to the right page.
