A little help?

Well... I have a long story.

I have been trying to cheat maps for a long time, I follow directions all the way through. When I go into jasscraft I do everything that the guide tells me to. But then when I save it and put it back into the map. I compact the map (I've also tried not compacting it) and I play it. When I play it the cheats don't work, and when I reopen the map in MPQmaster and extract the w3map.j (or whatever it's called) again, and reopen jasscraft open the w3map.j all of my work for inserting the cheats is gone.

I've tried to do it with a lot of advice... but I decided to make a topic for others and for the helpers to get to it faster.

What I was thinking is that my listfile can't see a hidden Attributes... because there's always a .xxx left

never saw a protection that deletes the cheatpack itself.
have u tried just making a comment (just do // comment testing) and see if it stayed?
or ur not doing smthing right. or u can upload the map and let us check.

you have to close wc3, cheat the map and then start it again

First: Ilikehacking, do you mean in Jasscraft or MPQ master? Because I save in Jasscraft and I don't think there's a save in MPQ master

Second: I've tried making a comment it still deletes it...

did u hack any maps before? or its ur 1st map?

edit: dunno about u,, but it works for me... are you sure u replaced the war3map.j file? coz its inside the scripts.. u must overite it.

is your wc3 closed? because sometimes it accesses the map and you can't edit it
