Hacking the game

Is it possible to insert a cheat pack directly in the game so it works for all maps you play? It is a hassle to insert one in every map that i want to hack.

I suppose you could do that by altering the war3 MPQ scripts or w/e its called. In other words hack war3 not maps..

It's possible but you'd have to spoof some checksums to hide the modification.

You might be able to edit your Warcraft 3, but you'd never be able to get away playing an edited version online.

Every frickin' maphack hacks the game. And I have already explained how to modify warcrafts mpq files somewhere... maybe in the staff forum, dunno. Those loaders that allowed you to run the game without CD hacked the game as well. There isn't much that stops you from hacking every single bit of it... Okay now there is warden - I haven't played wc3 since they activated it. What warcraft does is checksumming the scripts inside it's mpq files - but you can of course spoof those checksums. You can do that on network layer so warden won't even see it. Just be creative! What do you think those collided maps were? They were a hack to bypass the warcraft 3 checksumming, but you can easily bypass it using different methods.
