Help with: making spells passive, autocast

I was reading tutorials over at Hive and I couln't seem to find a tutorial on making spells passive or autocast. So what better place to ask questions like these here?? I was thinking of making storm bolt (Mountain King's Ability) into a passive ability but it doesn't hurt to tell me how to make an autocast ability too.

Oh never knew they were links but Thank You. Also if you put "Do Nothing" won't that create leaks or something??
