problem faking a map

well, i've been trying to make a fake version of fantasy life 1.22a (naming it to 1.22c) but whatever i do it seems i can't make it appears as 1.22c in lobby (or something like that, where peoples join the map).
i'd need help to make it work, i already made it in map choosing screen (and it don't have to be done in loading screen since the version number doesn't appear there)

lepr, it sounds like you either forgot to edit the war3map.w3i or the map itself with a hex editor.

erm, i sought it worked, but just raelised that it didn't -_- the lobby name is still 1.22a -_-

When you're faking a map, you need to do three things to change the name:
Use a hex editor on the map itself
Use a hex editor on the war3map.w3i
Change the name where it is set by SetMapName in the war3map.j

Again, you didn't do the war3map.w3i part.
