Japanese Characters are unreadable

Post by Xandaros »

I don't know where to post it...
The problem is: I've got a japanese map and nothing is shown.
So I opened the map and tried to change it into romaji(western notation of japanese) but all I found is this: 뇌조
This is definitely not japanese and I can't read it. Is there any way to convert it to real japanese and thus making it readable for me?

Maybe you need to allow your computer to read that characters. Open control panel -> region and language, select the tab, Administrative and edit the box for Non-Unicode programs. Make it the language you it to read.

Note this works in case you mean you cant read it on Notepad or something similar not into war3.

I tried to read it in Jass Craft.
Well, I've got them isntalled, else it would be a bunch of funny boxes. But it's this ANSI crap and it needs to be converted.
