Hey, I have a program I need to be made. I'll only pay $20-$30 since it should be an easy one. I just need a program that will compare 2 .txt files and give me an output .txt file with the answers.

Text file #1 shows the answer I picked, but text file #2 shows me if it was wrong or right by using TRUE or FALSE. I just need something that will filter that stuff out and make one answer document out of it.

Alright, you may get confused, but just ask any questions you have.

I'm looking for a custom made program that will ask for the 2 files each time to compare them even if the numbers/values are different. I have XP 32 bit and XP 64 bit.

Please ask any questions you have because this may be very complex and confusing (at least it is for me). Alright, I'll try and explain what I need done.



First, the question.txt will look like this:

a-1-1


a = answer

1= that number is referring to my question

1 = that number is the actual choice that I chose for that question



The answer.txt file will look like this:

questions[q1][a1]

false

questions[q1][a2]

true

questions[q1][a3]

true

questions[q1][a4]

false





The ONLY way to get the answer is by comparing Questions.txt to the Answers.txt



In this case I chose option 1 or a1 (a-1-1) for Q1 or Question1

It says a1 is False so that will not be an answer. It says a2 and a3 which I did NOT select were true, so those will not be answers either, but it does say a4 is FALSE and I did not select a4.

So the answer to that problem is a4. Also, it is possible that there will be more than one choice.


If it is possible to compare those files REGUARDLESS if I change the order around and get an output file that says q1 or question1 is a4 that would be great!



I would like the output file to be in numerical order like:

q1 = a4

(I don't know if the ones below are right, I am making up answers for the ones below)

q2 = a3

q3 = a1, a2, a5



Please ask any questions because this is probably very confusing.

But here is the formula you are probably looking for:
It's very simple, whatever option I choose, in this scenario it was a1, if it is FALSE, it is not an answer, if it is TRUE it is an answer.



BUT for the ones I didn't choose (a2,a3,a4) if they say TRUE it is NOT an answer, if they say FALSE it is an answer.

Well, I suppose I could go through ALL 100 questions and do it myself. I already have for one test. That's right, it is a test. I can take the test as many times as I want, I just have to pass it, lol.

Um... Just out of curiosity, could the question file be changed so that it's similar to answers?

So, formatted like q-x-a-b-c-d, where x is question number, and a/b/c/d are true or false, or whatever?

Not really, I mean I guess you could, but then it would make it harder for me to decipher. No worries though, I found a guy who already completed the assignment for $10! Custom made program ftw
