I just searched, and I found a few deprotected FoC 8.0 versions, but they're all newer versions than 8.0h. Do you need h, or can I point you to some others?

For Fight of Characters 8.0n2, no1 deprotected it.

For Fight of Characters 8.0m3, someone said it was fake.

For Fight of Characters 8.0e, it's screwed up.

For Fight of Characters 8.0b, screwd up while saving.
I opened the map in WE Unlimited, works. Tried saving that map and got a couple of errors. Can't host the error map. So what should i do?

For Fight of Characters 7.9s, it's too old already...

Try the 8.0m2 one anyway. lanaya-pwns made it, and some people have problems opening his deprotected maps. I think if you've got an older version of WE, then you can open it. Maybe WEU will let you open it, too.

i don't mind if 7.9s is too old cuz after i translate it, it will be the first FOC in taiwan.
I'm just trying to introduce this game to taiwan..haha.
So, does 7.9s work?

Ok 8.0m3 and 8.0b are working.

Both works well in Single Player(deprotected but not edited)

Tried opening them in WE and WEU, both works.

Tried saving them, both doesn't work. It gives me an error while saving(although it creates the map).

Then i tried running the new-saved-map in single player, it won't work as you can't choose to go any teams(as in there arn't any teams and there's no "Open/Closed/Computer(Easy) etc etc"

So how do i edit(translate the map), then saving the map WHILE keeping it under 4mb(so i can host in GArena) AND in 100% working condition(not screwed up. Teams, monsters etc etc)

Deprotected maps have too many issues. I don't know if you'll be able to. You can shrink it below 4mb with an optimizer, but as for having it working well... It depends on how well it was deprotected, and how well it was protected to begin with.

So is there like any other ways for me to translate the map(Unit names + Item names) without using the WE? So i can like translate it and save it without any errors?

(Maybe some JASS editing or whatever it is called?)

Oh btw, the deprotected map is not fully deprotected. The custom units are missing in the object editor. The custom items and skills are missing too.

So how do i recover those units,items and skills THEN translate it and save it?

I hope someone can teach me xD

Extras:
I checked for the some units in the object editor, the units are not highlighted in pink. But the small icon of the units are replaced(Not original anymore). However, no skills,attributes are changed, only the icon is changed. (Unit is still not highlighted in pink. It's suppose to change from black to pink once it's edited. But the weird thing is, the icon changed but it's still not in pink)
Oh btw, those are only small part of the actual heroes in the game. Most of the heroes have disappeared under the Custom Units.

Here's the weird part, although those units are missing, i tried pressing Ctrl+F9(Test Map Function) inside the WE. The map is working fine with all the units inside the game.
So how did they hide the units/skills/item so that you can't see them in object editor, only in game?

Damn... FoC has a tough protection... The koreans are smart.

For the missing objects: Extract the necessary files from the original map, using MPQMaster, and then import them with File>Import on each tab in WE, after you opened the deprotected map.
war3map.w3b - Destructibles
war3map.w3d - Doodads
war3map.w3a - Abilities
war3map.w3t - Items
war3map.w3h - Buffs/Effects
war3map.w3q - Upgrades
war3map.w3u - Units
war3map.w3e - Terrain

I suppose you could edit those, and then save and extract the things, and you wouldn't need to get it deprotected.

Well, not much of a problem except

MPQMaster won't open the original map.
It tells me to send error report everytime i tried to open the original map.

I can only open the deprotected map.

Ok here's what i did.
I extracted the necessary files from a older version 7.8h B, imported them to 8.0m3. It works.

But what's the point of doing it? It only means i'm changing 8.0m3 back to 7.8h B.

Hmmmm. It's a big problem... MPQMaster just won't open 8.0m3.

Use RMPQEx, which can be found in the Tools section.
