... MY COMPUTER!

My problem is that suddenly my computer is unable to reach anything under the google domain...

It seems to work fine on my friend's computer but on mine I can't reach google on any browser or on any of their websites

Help please?

I just checked Google; it's not down (yeah, like that would happen...).
Using Windows? Right click on the internet thing in the status bar, and choose Reload, or Refresh, or whatever. That may work.
Filters can also be to blame, if you're at the library or school or something (I don't see why they would block Google, but maybe a few Google services, like Gmail).

So, can you give a few more details? Router, ISP, OS, internet browser, etc.

I am at my hose so it can't be a filter...
I am the only one to use my computer cuz no one else knows my password...
I tried reloading many times...
google maps or google mail doesn't work either...
I have a linksys router
My IP is 206.223.226.XX
I am using Windows XP SP3
I have tried using Firefox and Chrome

I forgot to ask the most important question... What is your browser displaying, when Google doesn't load? Is it timing out, or is it having some other error?

YAY!

Google is working again but this is the 2nd time in a row that this has happened...

Since this has also happened yesterday too I would think it would happen tomorrow...

Then I will tell you the error I get.

Also, I didn't do anything for it to work...
I just kept on trying to go to google...

shit, gotta run to work, but I thought I read on CNN that googl was banned in parts of asia? Maybe I was dreaming something stupid.

Yes it was...

But I live in Canada which I don't believe is in Asia...

Also my friends don't have this...

To add on to that, it's only for about 30 mins after I startup my computer

He isn't in Asia, so that can't be the problem.
Well, maybe it was just a weird connection issue or something, and it's fixed now?
